Amanda Moore

Amanda Moore’s poetry has appeared in journals and anthologies including ZZYZVA, Cream City Review, Best New Poets, and Mamas and Papas: On the Sublime and Heartbreaking Art of Parenting, and her essays have appeared in The Baltimore Review, Hippocampus Magazine, and on the University of Arizona Poetry Center’s blog. She is the recipient of writing awards and fellowships from The Writers Grotto, The Writing Salon, Brush Creek Arts Foundation, The Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, and the Brown-Handler Residency at the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library. She serves as co-editor of Poetry Sunday at Women’s Voices for Change and reader for VIDA Review and the INCH series at Bull City Press. A high school English teacher, Amanda lives with her husband and daughter in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco.
